We are honored that you dropped by! In some small way, I hope our website has touched your heart positively, and I hope you feel a greater desire to live a better life through Jesus Christ.
It is possible that you came to this site because you are looking for a new church home. Please consider Richland Road as that very place. As a way of introduction, let us tell you a few things about who we are.
A CHRIST CENTERED CHURCH
The church of Christ at Richland Road strives to follow the life of Jesus as we preach His whole gospel in a spirit of love. Therefore, we are involved in meeting the needs of people, both physically and spiritually.
A BIBLE TEACHING CHURCH
Bible classes are held every Sunday and Wednesday evening for all ages. Besides having classes for our children, from infants through High School, we also have several adult Bible Classes.
Our Vacation Bible School is always an exciting event each summer with hundreds of children in attendance!
We also offer home Bible studies for anyone that would like to learn more about the Bible on a private basis. We’ll gladly provide a series of five videos that give you a wonderful overview of the Bible in a five week period.
A WORSHIPPING CHURCH
We assemble on every first day of the week to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to worship God, and encourage each other. Our times of worship on Sunday are 8:30AM & 11:00 AM., and 6:00 PM. At Richland Road, Christians share together a memorial meal, the Lord’s Supper, every Sunday. The unleavened bread and fruit of the vine are symbols of the body and blood of Jesus. This is a weekly reminder of WHO we are and WHOSE we are. Sermons are designed to be Biblical, encouraging, educational, and practical. Music is a vital part of our worship. Christians celebrate and worship God by uniting their voices in the singing of hymns. Instrumental music does not appear at Richland Road, but rather the melody of Christians as they raise their voices to God. A dedicated effort is made to keep our worship services uplifting and in harmony with the Word of God.
Interpreters for the deaf are present during our second worship hour on Sunday morning.
A FELLOWSHIPPING CHURCH
Our aim is to study, work, and fellowship together as God’s family. Throughout the year we have several fellowship activities for the congregation as a whole and also for different age groups. These wholesome activities provide mutual encouragement, helping us to grow closer to Jesus and strengthening us to resist the world’s temptations.
We would love to have you as our guest in the coming days! We will be looking for you!
